I'm a person who's good at compartmentalization. You could say it's a good trait, and it does help me stay positive even during times like these. But that also makes me forget about issues that are important and pertinent.

With the world on lockdown, many of us turn to constantly updating ourselves through the news and social media. After over 2 months of the virus landing in Hong Kong, I've turned myself away from much use on social media, avoiding its falsehoods and negativity. But I'm hoping to spread a little positivity today here, as I think these platforms can also be platforms for good.

I'm reminded that we don't have to just consume negative news, but also use the vast resources that are made available to us. We can all read more, explore culture over a digital format. What's your interest for your betterment lately from this stuck-at-home situation?

Thanks to everyone who have brightened my day with birthday wishes and reminding me of the love and care we all have for each other. Our distance is shortened because of the connection over the web, but I know I still need to work on being better at staying in touch, especially with voice calls and video chats 😝

Thanks to my family and @tonez_p for bearing with our unofficial quarantine the past couple weeks. I'm so glad to see how we all managed to learn something new about each other and learn new skills for ourselves... And that we haven't gone completely insane yet.

Stay healthy, stay sane everyone.
